Degenerative pitbull Joint Disease in our pets is generally synonymous with osteoarthritis.
Symptoms include a destruction of parts of the joint,
generally isolated to the cartilage. Pets with this
condition may also experience intermittent inflammation.
This condition is one of the most common types of
arthritis in dogs. If you have a dog that is losing its
mobility or a dog that if suffering from joint pain,
introducing NuJoint supplement can be not only be a great benefit, but a life saver.
Here are several common types of arthritis in dogs: Pitbulls | Bulldogs | Dogs
Pitbull Hip Dysplasia in dogs is a type of osteoarthritis that
affects the hip joints of your pet. This can sometimes
result after an acture injury, but can also occur due to
normal wear and tear or infectious agents. This disease
causes a number of complications. A common misconception
is that hip dysplasia is always an isolated condition.
This is not true, it is quite possible for hip dysplasia
to spread to other joints as the disease progresses.
Pitbull Hypertrophic Arthritis in dogs has to do with the
development of bone spurs. The best analogy to describe a
bone spur would be walking on a tack all of the time,
because the joint is not smoothly moving along but instead
is being poked by growths that are very painful in both
humans and animals. This generally occurs as a result of
trauma or osteoarthritis.
Pitbull Osteoarthritis in dogs is a slowly progressing disease
that occurs due to the breakdown and destruction of your
pet's cartilage. As it gets worse, the bones (now with far
less cartilage to provide shock absorption) begin to grind
against one another causing pain, reduced flexibility,
inflammation, and a reduction in mobility. This is one of
the most common types of arthritis in pets and the type
that glucosamine is most suited for.
Pitbull Osteochondrosis in dogs is when the cartilage deteriorates
and causes an osteoarthritic like condition. Joint tissue
becomes both painful and inflamed. It is speculated that
there is a genetic component to this disease but it
nutrition may also be a contributing factor.
Pitbull Shoulder Degeneration in dogs is a disease that has
multiple causes. Because the shoulder is more of a sliding
joint rather than a ball and socket, it is less prone to
injury but it may still wear down over time. Infection or
injury to the joint may be contributing factors. This type
of arthritis generally affects the gait of the animal and
slows them down.
Pitbull Rheumatoid Arthritis in dogs is similar to rheumatoid arthritis in humans. This
type of arthritis results when the body attacks itself or
an infectious agent and becomes confused and attacks one
or more joints in your pet's body. The cause of this type
of arthritis is generally unknown.
Pitbull Traumatic Arthritis in dogs is a catch all term for
arthritis that has manifested as a result of trauma to the
joints. This kind of arthritis is generally acute and is a
direct result of some form of trauma. Osteoarthritis in
the effected joints commonly develops over time as a
result of this condition.

"After 3 months she started to improve considerably"
Last year, while I was playing with Princess (a 6yr. old Australian Shepherd/Lab mix) in my yard, all the sudden she started to limp. I took her to the veterinary and she was diagnosed with cruciate ligament and the only option we had at that time was a very expensive surgery.
I searched the web for more information about cruciate ligament and I found the testimonials of others in NuVet's web site. I decided to give it a try. After 3 months she started to improve considerably and now is almost a year since this incident happened and she is a normal dog again. Definitively a healthy diet and NuVet Plus did the trick.
I strongly recommend NuVet Plus and now I am giving it to our new member of the family, Sassy (a 1 yr. old Australian Shepherd/Bichon Frise mix).

"If I hadn't seen it myself, I wouldn't have believed it."
Our 13 year old Norwegian Elkhound mix has had joint problems for over a year and has been on Rimadyl, an effective but serious steroid medication. Upon a recommendation from our groomer, I tried both the Nuvet wafers for all 3 of our dogs, and NuJoint for Michael, the one with the joint problems.
Four weeks later: We have been able to completely wean Michael off of the Rimadyl!! This is significant. In addition, he is more alert, will even play with the other two younger dogs and is definitely enjoying a better quality of life. Thank you, NuJoint, for that.
Just using NuVet on our 1 year old border collies has made a difference in their coat; we're also seeing more regular firmer bowel movements, and definitely doing much better with their allergic reactions to the occasional flea bites during this season. The scratching has been reduced by 80% at least.
Even the cat is on NuVet now. Again, we are seeing a healthier, calmer and more energetic cat. Her coat actually has a shine to it.
Finally... they love the taste of these wafers. They think they are treats! Even the cat eats better with the powder application used. What can I say... thank you doesn't seem to quite say enough, but we do "Thank You" sincerely. (So do Sophie, Annie, Michael and Lady)

Ingredients
MSM supplies biologically active sulfur to animals' joints. Use of MSM has been shown to reduce the rigidity of cells in the soft tissues of the body. By reducing this rigidity, fluids are able to pass more freely from the cell and this helps to reduce cell pressure, thereby reducing inflammation and pain.
Glucosamine provides the joints with the building blocks needed to repair the damage caused by osteoarthritis . Acting as a catalyst, Glucosamine helps animals synthesize new cartilage needed to replace damaged cartilage caused by wear and tear. Hip dysplasia occurs when normal wear and tear break down cartilage.
Chondroitin attracts and holds fluid within cartilage tissue helping to lubricate joints, increase mobility and reduce discomfort caused by hip dysplasia. Chondroitin neutralizes the destructive enzymes that are known to damage and destroy cartilage. Chondroitin aids the entry of Glucosamine into inflamed joints. Vitamin C promotes cartilage growth and tissue repair.
Vitamin C is a key factor in the immune system, helping white blood cells function. Prolonged Vitamin C deficiency will cause existing tissues to deteriorate.
